The fabric used in this garment was woven on a handloom by a master fabric weaver often using natural dyed yarns. In this technique, motifs are inlaid into the fabric by adding a denser thread to warp by hand. This process is extremely difficult and time consuming involving extremely skilled textile artisans.
Slight imperfections and flaws are characteristics of the fabric due to the hand process.
