The Clyde Chain is an adjustable 16”-18” gold filled chain.

Merewif use gold filled chain on certain delicate necklace styles. Gold filled jewellery is composed of a number of layers wherein a gold alloy is permanently bonded to the brass core with both heat and pressure. Because of the permanent nature of gold filled jewellery, this category tends to be slightly more expensive than plated or vermeil jewellery but should not be confused with solid gold jewellery. 

JEWELLERY CARE

To prolong the life of your gold plated and gold filled pieces, we recommend removing your jewellery when doing the following:

• swimming (chlorine and salt can affect plating over time), showering, or washing your hands

• applying lotions, oils, perfumes, etc.

• cleaning, especially with harsh chemicals

• rings when getting a manicure and necklaces/earrings when having hair treated
