This model is a corduroy version of the denim jacket commonly known as the 2nd, which was released in 1953. The buttons and name are intact, but the fabric has been pigment-dyed, so you can enjoy the fading that occurs with wear and aging, just like denim. A modified label is sewn under the main label on the collar to indicate that it has been modified.
